An antibiotic? Of penicillin, cephalosporins, sulfonamides and erythromycin. Amoxicillin is the most commonly used antibiotics to treat ear infections. Much depends on the last time I had been a course of antibiotics and the antibiotic. So, if I still give an infection and prescribed penicillin, meaningless, another course of penicillin soon, so I took a mycin, such as erythromycin, because I do not want to not transfer immunity to antibiotics.
