It should be firmly screwed down the lid and the bottle of liquid in my chest. I threw the bag of clothes in the trunk, and then one day I was walking by the laundry bag and spilled liquid in blue and some of my clothes. Is there anything I can do?

Use a mild detergent. Pour a little on the job (s), rub it around, then machine wash as usual.
